The Beyeren Armorial
Around 1400 Claes Heynenzoon, the herald of arms of the count of Holland, made up the ‘Wapenboek Beyeren’ or Beyeren Armorial. It contains drawings of more than thousand coats of arms of knights who participated in several tournaments and battles.
On fol. 7 v° we find the coat of arms of Hendrik III van Cuyck, as one of the participants in the tournament of 1238.
